My house of munchkins

A southern mom trying to raise her kids in a crazy world.

I have a walker

I have to honestly admit that Facebook is the reason I haven’t been posting here.  I am so addicted to Farmville and Farkle.  I am all about growing me some eggplant and rolling dice.  Y’all definitely need to try those two games!

Anyway…. I have news!  I’m so excited about this.  My little man took off a few nights ago.  Literally.  He was going!  He went from me to Abbey just as fast as those chubby legs would take him.  Then he smiled the sweetest smile I have ever seen.  He was all over the house.  He’d look back to make sure we were watching.  So sweet!  I am telling the truth here…. he was running (ok that reminded me of Forest Gump).  I could not slow him down.  I told Jason it was time to nail everything down because we have a walker.  He gets into everything!

Another bit of good news.  Abbey’s teacher is great!  She has been teaching for years.  Last night we went to meet her.  She was extremely attentive to what I had to tell her.  I know it’s hard to have a child with all the medical problems like Abbey in your class.  I tried not to bombard her with so much.  She was ready and excited to have her!  That makes all the difference to me and Abbey.

Tyler’s teacher is new.  He adored her from the minute he walked in.  Could have something to do with the fact that she is the absolute cutest thing!  And… she had goody bags on each of there desks.  He was so funny.  He kind of peaked around me to look around the room.  Then he spotted his assistant teacher from last year and he perked right up.  She will be in his room again this year.

Tomorrow is their big day.  Look out Second and Fourth grade!  I wonder how Zack is going to like being all alone.  I bet he will take better naps.

He is on the move. Wow! Look out all!

I am glad to hear the teachers are good. I have gotten Colton into a Day School here in Tupelo that I am excited about. He starts Sept 1 but we have open house the 27th and that will tell a lot. I will keep you posted.
